I predict that Jason the main character will remember everything again. The main character Jason woke up on a bus holding hands with someone he did not know and he "best friend" talking to him. He didn't know who or where he was and who he was with. He later found out his name was Jason and the girl he was holding hands with was his girlfriend. The bus was taking him to the Grand Canyon for a field trip. There was a boy named Dylan, who took his girlfriend for a partner. All of a sudden a terrible storm broke out everyone left the skywalk accept the coach (chaperone) Piper (his girlfriend), Leo (his best friend), and Dylan. Dylan turned into a storm god and created two others. Dylan shot Leo over the edge with wind, but Leo was rescued by coach, who had the appearance of a goat and had mind reading abilities. For some Reason Jason reached into his pocket pulled out a coin and flipped it. The coin turned into a golden sword! Jason killed the two men Dylan created. Jason knowing to flip the coin leads me to think he will regain some, if not all his memory. "He reached in his pocket and pulled out the golden coin. He let his instincts take over, flipping the coin in the air like he'd done it a thousand times." (Riordan 4%).

In the book “Trash”, I predict that the main character, Raphael, is going to get into a lot of trouble. While Raphael was looking through garbage with his friend Gardo , trying to find something that was worth selling, Raphael come across a wallet. Inside the wallet was 1,100 pesos, Spanish money that could help Raphael and Gardo live well for awhile. Also, Raphael found a key in the wallet. The next morning, the police came by and asked them if they found a key, which they said would help them solve a murder. Raphael, not sure whether they were telling the truth, told the police he didn’t have the key. Raphael even said “Next to that, a folded-up map- and inside the map, a key”(Mulligan, 9 and 10), which was in the wallet he found. If the key really is the key the police need then Raphael is going to get in a lot of trouble if he doesn’t give it back soon.

I predict the main character Jennifer in "sweethearts" will figure out her long lost bestfriend Cameron isn't dead. Cameron was her only friend at school and when she hadnt seen him for days at school she suspected the worst. Then at school people started saying he moved. Then all the kids at school were saying that Cameron had died. "Matt said Cam's enemies dared him to jump of the roof,and he did. They said his jump cleared the school yard and he landed in the street. A car was coming, it ran him over. End of story."(Zarr 15) All the kids at school arent very nice to Jennifer so she believes them but has her doubts.

In this book i predict that Percy, Hazel, and Frank will win against the gaint. Hazel raised the gaint, Alcyoneus 70 years ago and she died tring to delay his rising. Now she is getting another chance to kill him once and forall. Frank has this gift that he can be anything and he is also a child of mars(war god). Percy is the different one out of all three of them. He is not from the same camp as the other two. He is from a Greek camp and his memory got taken away from him by Juno. With these threethey will defeat the giant and return to camp in time. "Be anything. He remembered the bald eagles they'd seen on the train ride. His body became smaller and lighter. His arms stretched into wings, and his sight became a thousand times sharper." (Riordan 459). "I raised this monster from the earth. I'm the daughter of Pluto. I's my place to kill him." (Riordan 453).

I finished this book but, if it kept going on I'd predict that Drea would go home from school for a while since of what had happened. She was almost killed by her unknown stalker. Come to find out it was her boyfriend after all. I also predict that Stacey will go home too for a little bit to get away from that school. Stacey was Drea's room mate. I a predict too that Stacey and this boy Chad will start dating. I think this because she likes him and it seems he likes her. "I nod, but this time it's me who kisses him."(stolarz283). Chad and Stacey kiss agaun under a tree in which they've kissed under before.

I can predict that one of the boys will try to escape the new home they are put in and just run away and maybe go into hiding. I predict this because the boys are juvenile and most likely not all of them will agree to stay and do work. “But the new arrival is more interested in the fire escape that passes just outside the bedroom window” (Korman 21). This is a sign that one of them is thinking of attempting an escape. Since they have an easier way for an escape in the apartment one of them might attempt one.

In my book, Eon, I can connect the Dragoneye banquet to the Chinese New Year. The Dragoneye banquet is a cheerful event that includes people in dragon costumes, dancers, musicians and a lot of food. During the Chinese New Year everyone is having fun listening to music, watching dancers, people in all types of costumes parade through the streets and there are many food stands too. Although, the Dragoneye banquet takes place in the emperor’s palace while the Chinese New Year is held outside and inside houses throughout East and South-East Asia. Also, the Chinese New Year is about one month while the Dragoneye banquet is only one evening. “Four musicians had kowtowed into the center of the room, followed by a troupe of twelve men, each dressed as one of the animals in the cycle,” (Goodman 173-174). I can connect the Dragoneye banquet to the Chinese New Year.

I can connect Touch Blue with my family's vacation last summer. On the first page the book give me an image of a tropical place. The book also starts off with the characters waiting for a ferry. I was in a tropical place for my vacation and I took the ferry. " The ferry's comming!" (Lord 1)

Katniss is now in training with Johanna, another victor. They and almost everyone in the district are happy because of Finnick’s wedding and uniting the districts against the Capitol, and Katniss is recovering from her injuries. “It just goes around and around, and who wins?... First off, I can connect to this story in a few ways. For example, these 3 kids who are chosen to be part of a special program at a house in New York all have done bad things in life and have been sent to Juvenile Delinquent school. I myself, have done a few things bad in my life, too. Nothing that I have done is as bad as killing someone or driving a getaway car for my brother’s robbery, but I think everyone can say that they have lied or cheated or sneaked something in their life, because nobody’s perfect. In this book, it states, “A fifteen year old convicted of man-slaughter” (Korman15). So, in this story, I can connect to the bad doings of things in the lives of these troubled kids.

I predict this because in the book it talks alot about how her mother disapears almost every night. Ronnie also believes that she will wake up to find her mother gone. I also believe this because the book states that the mother moves away with a new boyfriend and leaves the kids alone with their dad. The mom also comes home drunk all the time, and the main character Ronnie is only six and still believes in monsters under the bed and aliens in the closet.

I predict that the Deschamp's daughter Louise got killed from one of the guards that are holding the hostiges. I predict this because i know that she already dies later on but, the guards are so cruel. "A dog runs too close to us, barking. One of the men, the huge black one, grabs the back of its throat with his machete."(Pow 23). That shows that the guard has no problem killing an innocent thing.
