Shecter, Vicky Alvear. Cleopatra's Moon. New York: Arthur A. Levine Books, 2011. Print.
I predict that Cleopatra Selene will have to make a decision that can change her life. She has fallen for two guys, Juba and Marcellus. Marcellus is the Golden Boy of his father Caesar and Juba is adopted. Cleopatra Selene's patron goddess is Isis and she has visited Selene in her sleep and she must take back the power of her mother and rule as Egypt's gueen. "You must choose, the Goddess said. I choose power, I said. I choose freedom," (Shecter 253). " It means the Goddess has blessed our plans, she said," ( Shecter 257).

Collins, Suzanne Mocking Jay New York Collins, Suzzane 2 October 2011 Print
I infer that in the story Katniss is feeling that she must become the Mockingjay in order to save Peeta. I can infer that Katniss believes that becoming the Mockingjay is the only way she can protect Peeta. Since Peeta saved Kattnisses life Katniss thinks that she must save Peeta’s life as well. Katniss knows that the if she doesn’t become the Mockingjay ten Petta will be killed. ‘”I’m going to become Mockingjay.”’ ( Katniss 31)

I predict that the main character "Katniss" will try an figure out who sent the white rose and is trying to seek revenge on her for winning the Hunger Games. She thinks it's president snow but is un-shure of herself. "My nose twitches. It's the smell. Cloying artifical. A dab of white petals peeks out of a vase of dried flowers on my dresser, I approach it with cautios steps. There, all but obsured by it's preserved cousins is a fresh white rose..and i know exactly who sent it to me..President Snow."(Collins 14)
President Snow is also the one that caused Katniss to kill thousands of her people . Maybe he wanted her dead to..

Westerfeld, Scott. Leviathan. New York: Simon Pulse, 2009. Print.
I infer that Alek reacted negatively to the fabricated beasts because he was afraid of them. Alek is used to being around large metal machines. The Darwinist creations are like aliens to him, and that makes him feel scared. “These godless beasts were an insult to nature itself. Perhaps a war was worth ridding the world of them.” (Westerfeld 233-234). Alek is not used to the way that these creatures behave or the way they look. That is why I infer his negative feelings towards the animals used in London.

I infer that Brooklyn is missing Gabe more than her deceased boyfriend Lucca because she is dreaming about Gabe every night. Gabe's ghost is taunting her and she can't stand it. Brooklyn is confused and can't explain why she is only dreaming about Gabe and not Lucca. Was Gabe suppose to be Brooklyn's true love after all, and are these dreams and signs trying to tell her something? " Every time I close my eyes, Gabe's ghost is there waiting for me,"(Shroeder124).''

I predict that Clara and Gerri will end up not being good friends anymore. Gerri is having a great time with Sands Mandeville in Stowe, skiing. I also predict that Amos will notice that Clara likes him and Clara will find that Amos likes her, so they will date. "Clara had to laugh. 'Sands Mandeville snores?' Clara said this with real gusto, but it became clear that a little snoring wasn't something Gerri was willing to hold against her new friend Sands" (McNeal 10).

Carter, Ally. Heist Society. New York: Scholastic Inc., 2010. Print.
Heist Society is about a teen girl named Kat who has decided to leave her life of crime as a thief and try to live a normal life. She cons her way into a boarding school only to be framed for a prank she did not do by a former friend named Hale. Because Kat no longer wants to be a thief, I can infer that something bad happened on a previous job to make her want to leave the “family business.” Hale picked her up when she got expelled from the school and told her that he had another job for only her to do. Kat says, “ ‘I don’t want a job.’ ‘You’ll want this one.’ ‘I’m out of the family business. Or haven’t you heard?’” (Carter 15). Hale then tells Kat that her father is in danger.

Goodman, Alison. Eon. New York: Firebird, 2008. Print.
I infer that the main character Eon feels he is undesired. I also infer that Eon must be quite significant for a weak twelve-year-old boy to be chosen by his master, Ranne. Eon has a bad leg and can’t perform his sequences perfectly, yet Ranne chose Eon to train to be an apprentice to a Dragoneye. Still, Eon is an embarrassment to Master Ranne. “Ranne had added jah, the old ward against evil, to my name,” (Goodman 4). “He was risking everything for the chance of my success,” (Goodman 7). Eon may not perform his sequences well and he is not very loved, but I still infer that his master believes Eon has a purpose for living and has a special gift.

Swanson, James. Chasing Lincoln’s Killer. New York: Scholastic inc, 2009. Print.
I can connect Chasing Lincoln’s Killer to a documentary on the history channel. So far the book describes the day that John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Lincoln. The book describes what weapons Booth used, the plan he had, and how he pulled his plan out. The documentary on the history channel describes all those things. “Booth chose as his primary weapon a .44 caliber, single shot, muzzle loading pistol….” (Swanson 16 ) I can connect this quote to one time when I went to Washington D.C. ,and I saw Fords theater. I saw Where President Lincoln was sitting when he got shot and the .44 caliber that Booth used.

Paulsen, Gary. Woods Runner. New York: Scholastic Inc., 2010. Print.
In the book I am reading called “Woods Runner”, I predict that the main character Samuel will finally catch up to his parents, who were took by the British. Samuel was out hunting when his parents were attacked by the British. Their cabin was burned down and Samuel’s parents were took as captives. Samuel used his knowledge of the woods to find them, but was hit by an Indian and knocked out for a couple of days and fell five days behind the British. I predict that Samuel will find his parents soon because when he was following trails of the British he stopped by a farm. The people who owned the farm fed him and told him about how they saw Samuel’s parents with the British. Samuel asked them how far the British were ahead of him and the people said ”Two, no, three days”(Paulsen 81). Samuel is gaining some ground on them now and has gotten closer to the British. That is why I predict Samuel will find his parents soon.

Shane, Darren. The Thin Executioner. New York: Little, Brown and company. 2010. Print.
I predict that Jabel will try and kill his slave, Tel Hasani, that he must sacrifice to gain immortality. I think he will try and kill him because now that they are on a quest and not with anyone, the slave keeps talking to Jabel like a normal person, and Jabel doesn't like this because he feels that since he is an executioners son, the slave should be whipped for this. Also, the slave knows a lot more about the land, so Jabel keeps getting injured while Tel is perfectly fine. "you're the slave, you should be suffering" (Shane 297).

I predict that the reason a character named CiFi claimed he wasn’t the one who stole the shiny items, is because he really didn’t steal them. I think CiFi stealing the shiny items was really the part of him that was from his brain donor. In the book Unwind, children from the ages of thirteen to eighteen could get “unwound.” Getting unwound means that you are in a living/non-living state of being. Your parents/guardians can choose for you to be unwound, and once they sign the papers there is no turning back. When you get unwound it’s almost like you get recycled, if there is someone in a hospital who lost a finger, a doctor will cut the finger off of an unwind and put it on the person who lost a finger. What people don’t know is whatever part of someone you get you also get their traits and personality; CiFi got part of someone’s brain. The person whose brain was given to CiFi was a criminal…so people thought. Now that CiFi can think and he feels like the so called criminal he knows that this boy was not really a criminal. The boy had an addiction to things that were shiny, felt that he needed to have them, and he couldn’t control himself. CiFi hates stealing and now he can’t help it. I think CiFi will get caught, and possibly sent to be unwound…

I predict that Jefferey will get in trouble with his parents. I predict this because Jefferey ripped a letter from the school that said if kids dont pass the state test they stay back. This would be a serious promblem for Jefferey because after having 3 years of cancer treatment the medicine impaired his thinking and school is harder for him than most people."That from no kid could get promoted from garde four eight or elevenunless he passed the huge horrifying state tests in April,I was screwed"(Sonnenblick 28). This could be very bad for Jefferey if he doesnt pass.

Stevenson, Sarah Jamila. The Latte Rebellion. Woodbury, Minnesota: Llewellyn Worldwide Ltd., 2011. Print.
I can infer that in this book, the main character, Asha, feels like there’s a minority between the color of her skin and the color of other people’s skin. I can also infer that she’s entirely against racism and prejudice, since she started a t-shirt website business called “The Latte Rebellion”. On this website, she sells shirts saying “Unite all Lattes of the World.” By this she means “No matter what color brown you are or where you come from, we’re all the same.” So, in this book, I can infer that Asha feels like she’s being judged or compared to other brown people or asians. For example, in the book, it states “Help further the cause of brown people in America!”(Stevenson 28)

I think that’s “A”’s motive for sending the text to the girls is to scare them. The girls think that “A” is Alison but Alison is gone. The girls do have good reason to believe it is Allison. “Ali snorted. ‘If you don’t tell her, maybe I will.”(Shepard 178). Ali was the only one to know the girls secrets and she did threaten to tell the secrets when she was still alive. I also think “A” want payback. Whoever “A” is she does not like the girls. She wants to get revenge on the girls for whatever they did when they were younger.

Even though he is disgusted by them, he is intrigued by them. “And yet, despite his horror, Alek found himself fascinated by the alien grace of the tendrils.” (Westerfeld 267). Also, if fabricated beasts were to live in this time period, then they would probably be used as pets instead of weapons.

They may be afraid that the baby will run around the entire world on a wild killing streak exposing vampires to the entire world. The baby may become a threat which the Volturi may believe needs to be vanquished at that very point in time. In my opinion I would not want my baby taken away from me because even though the baby is a threat Bella and the Cullen family are working very hard on keeping the baby away from humans. When Charlie came to visit the Cullens to see Bella the baby, Renesmee, wanted to drink blood from Charlie the Cullens kept her very far from Charlie so they were both safe. “Under my hair, Renesmee sniffed as Charlie’s scent registered with her, too. I think during the battle she will be close to death and almost give up. But I think she will pull it together and win it, the crowd will be amazed and cheering for her. At the end I think she will say that she won the competition for Prim. “My little sister, Prim, curled up on her side, cocooned in my mother s body, their cheeks pressed together” (Collins1).
