The conflict in this book is that four teenage girls are getting anonymous texts that are frightening. Each girl has a secret, Aria is having a relationship with her English teacher, Hannah is bulimic and steals, Spencer kissed her sister’s boyfriend, and Emily is gay. No one knows these secrets except for them and their missing friend Ali, who was recently found dead. The girls who used to be best friends are still not talking to each other. “the police had put up do not cross tape all around the concrete area of Alison’s old backyard, even though they had already removed her body from the ground. “ (Shepard 221)

In this book the conflict is with the Volturi and the Cullens. When the Volturi had found out about Renesmee they had got furious because of what had happened in recent times with babies who were changed into new-born vampires but, that is not what happened. What had happened is a totally different story which the Cullens will try to explain to the Volturi. To explain the Cullens got a group of their vampire friends which includes the Amazon, Denali, Egyptian, Irish and Romanian covens. It also includes most of the American and European nomads. They gathered these people to be witnesses to the Volturi that Renesmee is not what they think she is. They want to protect Renesmee from certain death and they will do whatever it takes. When the Volturi show up everyone is ready. They wait for them in the field.” We stared where he did, and waited as the last seconds passed.” (Meyer 678)

Goodman, Alison. Eon. New York: Firebird, 2008. Print.
The conflict that takes place in my book is that Eon hides a dangerous secret that can get him into a lot of trouble, or worse, even killed. Eon is actually a sixteen-year-old girl disguised as a twelve-year-old boy who has the ability to see all eleven energy dragons. Eon, who is actually, Eona, has more power than each Dragoneye combined and many people would want her magic. “But you have more raw power than all of the Dragoneyes combined.” (Goodman 38). Also, women are not allowed to partake in any magical ceremonies, or be recruited to train as a Dragoneye. Eona must hide her true identity to save herself from death. “I knew he was right; a woman could not have power. Or if she did, it was from the shapeliness of her body,” (Goodman 38). This conflict is a major issue for Eona.

The conflict that takes place in my book is the main character finds out that his brother Jeff had been diagnosed with leukemia. As anyone would feel the main character(Steven) feels horrible. Right now in the book Steven feels like he could have solved the problem and now he wants to make it up to Jeff by being really nice to him. I'm not done reading the book but I feel this is going to be the main conflict in my story.

The conflict now in the story is that Peeta was stuck in the capital under rule of president Snow. Peeta is continuously beaten and abused in the capital and this had d ruined Katniss. Then when district 13 had saved Peeta, Peeta had tried to strangle Katniss
When he had seen her. The capital had made all of Peetas memories with Katniss in them horrifying and made everything bad that happens because of Katniss. “My lips just form his name when his fingers lock around my throat"

In the Book “Woods Runner”, the main conflict in the book is that Samuel has lost his parents who have been kidnapped by a group of British soldiers. Samuel is now forced to go after his parents, who are headed to the British headquarters, which are in New York. He has already dodged many obstacles, including almost facing death. Now, Samuel is forced to go into the middle of the British headquarters in New York to find his parents. Samuel must think of a good plan to find his parents and rescue them , or else it is like almost sentencing himself to death. He also knows that the British headquarters are not safe for him because he said “New York City must be large, and filled with people who would not be helpful since the British were there”. He won’t be aware of anything now. This is most definitely the major conflict in the story for Samuel. This conflict is Samuel against the society of the British, and he has to win to save his parents.

Asians, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Latinos are looked down upon and are being made fun of quite a bit. So, she creates a website with her two friends selling T-shirts supporting the cause and to create awareness. Carey sarcastically had a T-shirt logo after someone made fun of Asha reading “ No, I am not Mexican. Neither is J. Lo. Thanks for asking.” (Stevenson 11) But, when people take this idea for legit, and people start realizing that Asha has a point, they start making it a bigger commitment for Asha than she planned. Then when Carey bails on her, she realizes that she is in too deep. That’s the major conflict in the book.

There is a main conflict in the book Unwind. The main conflict being, that in this time period, in an un-mentioned location, children from the ages of thirteen to eighteen can be "unwound." To get unwound means that your body is in a living/ non-living state. The person in charge of unwinding you simply takes a part of you and puts it in/on another person. At first there were three main characters; Risa, Lev, and Connor. Risa and Connor are Run-always, trying to escape being "killed." Lev was raised to believe that being unwound was a blessing, he was almost excited, then Connor and Risa "kidnapped" him thinking they were doing him a favor. At one point in the book, the three got separated. Now it's just Risa and Connor. Even Though they are separated, they are all thinking about each other and they are trying to survive.” You’re looking for Lev too, aren’t you?" (Shusterman 44 percent)

Dr. Barlow is a clever scientist, so there may be the danger that she will discover him. “ If he hadn’t let slip his discovery that Dr. Barlow understood German, perhaps Volger could have concocted some way to mislead her.” (Westerfeld 323-324).
