PREDICTION - A logical guess at future events in the story.
Be sure to include a QUOTE from the book to support your paragraph.

Korman , Gordon. The Juvie Three. New York: Hyperion Books , 2008. Print.
I predict in the book The Juvie Three that they will break Mr. Healy out of the mental hospital. Mr. Healy will remember the halfway house and will cover for the boys because he worked hard for the halfway house. “It’s taken more than a year to get this program approved.”(Korman 11) I have read many Gordan Kordon books and almost all of them end like my prediction.

Shepard, Sara. Pretty Little Liars. New York: Harper Collins Publishers, 2006. IBook.
Connection- I think that the text from “A” is a form of cyber bullying. Whoever “A” is, is threatening Hannah, Aria, Spencer, and Emily by saying that “A” will tell their secrets if they don’t listen to her. Sometimes the texts are just daunting.
“Aria,
That’s some kinda of extra credit!
Love ya, A
P.S. Wonder what your mom would think if she found out about your dad’s little, uh, study buddy… and that you knew!” (Shepard 171)
This is a text that “A” had sent Aria. The reference of “study buddy” was to Aria’s dad cheating on her mom with a coworker. Aria had seen her dad with the woman and had never told her mom. “A” was hinting that she would tell Aria’s mother.
Cyber bullying is when you hurt someone over the web or through texts. “A” was threating to hurt all 4 of the girls emotionally by ruining their relationships with other people.

I predict that Brooklyn will try to participate in some activities or hobbies to clear her mind of the two loses she recently encountered. It will keep her busy and then she won't be sad and depressed all the time. This may be were Brooklyn's journey begins.

Johnson, Maureen. 13 Little Blue Envelopes. New York. Harper Collins. 2005. Print.
My prediction on the book 13 Little Blue Envelopes is that Ginny’s aunt will come back. I think this because Ginny’s aunt disappeared one time before and then a few days later she returned. “ When Aunt Peg was Ginny’s age (17), she ran away from her home in New Jersey, just two weeks later she reappeared and seemed surprised by the fact That people were upset with her”(Johnson 11). I believe Aunt Peg just did this to get a break as she’s done before. I think Ginny is getting worked up for nothing.

I predick that matt will want to leve the school and run away.Because he said to his room mate Richard that "i hate it heere know one understands me".Also because in the last book when ever he got angry he ran away.

Westerfeld, Scott. Leviathan. New York: Simon Pulse, 2009. Print.
This book reminds me of all the past wars in this world. Most wars require men to train in specific fields of combat. Deryn is learning how to use fabricated beasts to fly and attack forces on land or sea. Also, the Clankers, well constructed machines built for battle, remind me of the numerous amount of machines used by armies. “ Debris struck the Stormwalker, but the viewport’s grills were squeezed as tight as a comb’s teeth now; only the fine dust of pulverized forest floor filtered through.” (Westerfeld 52). Most countries now use advanced weaponry like the giant metal walkers used by the Austria-Germany alliance.

Burg, Ann. All The Broken Pieces. New York: Scholastic Press, 2009. Print.
In the book I am reading “All The Broken Pieces”, I predict that the main character Matt will finally talk about his opinion on his life that he remembers back when he lived in Vietnam. His Parents that adopted him have brought it up a couple of times, but Matt did not talk about it. One time, after Matt Matt’s dad tried to talk to him, he told Matt “ If you give it a chance, I think it will work out for everyone” (Burg 112). Matt is always thinking about his real parents who left him back in Vietnam, so I think soon Matt will build up the courage to talk about his life in Vietnam to his real parents. I think it will make Matt feel a lot better also if he talks about it.

Flinn, Alex. Beastly. New York: HarperTeen, 2007. Print.
I predict that the Beast, Kyle Kingsbury, or aka “Adrian” will get his true loves kiss with this girl, Lindy that he meet. Adrian was reading read Jane Eyre because Lindy made him to and he said, “ I like that when Rochester and Jane were separated, he went to the window and called her name: ‘ Jane! Jane! Jane!’ And she heard him, and even answered. That’s what true love should be like- the person should be part of your soul and you should know what they’re feeling all the time,” (Flinn 261.) In the book Adrian calls Lindy’s name and he can hear her answering. When he gets to her she is in trouble and he saves her. “ I love you too, Adrian. But please let me- I grabbed her arm back. Then kiss me. Let me have the memory of your kiss, even if I die,” (Flinn 272.)

I agree with you because "A" is a bully that is putting spencer, aria, emily, and hanna in dander not just with txt and letters but putting them in physical danger too. What would you do if you were Aria? Would you tell your mom about the txt and about what you saw or would you just let "A" torment you.

Shane, Darren. The Demonata: Lord Loss. New York: Little Brown and Company, 2005. Print.
In the book "Lord Loss" I predict that Grubitsch Will become a demon hunter. I predict this because Grubitsch's family went to a ballet and dropped him at his Aunts. When he snuck back to the house, he found that demons had murdered his entire family, and then tried to kill him, but he just barely escaped with his life. "The demon snaps his tiny legs together. Too late! before they close, I'm through the dog flap" (Shane 29).

I think that maybe matt had done something bad while he was in vietnam, so he does not want to talk about it because he is ashamed of his actions. Why do you think he does not want to talk about it?
Mariana B.
Burg, Ann E. All the Broken Pieces. New York: Scholastic Press,2009, Print.
In the book 'All the Broken Pieces' that Matt will become friends with his enemy Rob. I predict this because in the book where i left off, Matt and Rob had to be parteners in a game at baseball practice. Matt and Rob ended up talking a lot about Vietnam and started to get along better. Now they don't fight like before and they aren't that mean to each other anymore. I think that shows that their friendship is developing. "Rob pulls off the bandanna and looks at me. His eyes are red. Are you okay? he asks." That shows Rob actually cared and wasn't being mean to Matt as he usually does.
Lyn M.
McMullan, Margaret. Sources of Light. Boston: Houghton Mifflin. 2010. Print.
I predict that the main character, Sam, will get into trouble for taking pictures of a riot that happened downtown. Sam felt obligated to take pictures of the scenes before her. I predict that Sam will have a whole new point of view of how Mississippi runs and will feel provoked to take action by taking pictures. In the section of the book that I have read Sam was snapping pictures of the dilemma so the police confiscated her roll of film. "The policeman headed toward me. When he caught up with me, he yelled for me to hand over my film," (McMullan 93). "Being black or white wasn't supposed to make any difference," (McMullan 94).
To Audrey: If you were in Aria's position how would you handle this problem of cyber bullying? Would you ignore the problem or address this quickly?

Meyer,Stephenie.Breaking Dawn.New York: Little Brown and Company, 2008. Print.
I predict that in this book Bella will survive while giving birth to the baby. The reason I believe this is because Bella is getting very strong because she is drinking blood to help the baby so the baby won’t drink blood from her and kill her. Also because if anything goes wrong during the process of Bella giving birth to the baby Edward or any other one of the vampires will change Bella. I think the vampires aren’t really serious about Bella’s child inside her because they don’t think things through. Like for the first part when they give the baby blood it gets strong and breaks Bella’s ribs.” ‘Pretty sure’-pant-‘It was a rib. Ow. Yep right here.’ She pointed to her left side, careful not to touch it.” (Meyer 274) So even though I don’t think the vampires think things through very thoroughly but, I still predict Bella will survive the process of giving birth.
To Karissa: Do you belive the kiss will save Kyle in time from staying a beast, or will he stay a beast forever?

I predict that Jefferey, Steven's brother will recover from his lukemia. I think this because the doctors in Philidelphia said he has slightly over a 50 percent chance of living. Also the doctors said that Jeffery's cancer was moderate.
"My baby brother had what they considered a moderate risk case,"(Sonnenblick 76)." "That meant his odds of survivng over 50 percent , but not by much," (Sonnenblick 77).

Their lives will be in danger."I'm an American, and I know these children and their parents don't want me here.I know they hate me and burn my flag and drag soldiers' bodies through the streets.**** 'em.I didn't chose to come here.I'm here on orders"(Smithson,76).

I predict that Mandy will try to find her sister and find out what happened to her. I think this because Mandy is left alone with only her dog, named Herry and is a upset that she is no longer with her sister. With no other human, to confied in, I believe that Mandy must rely on herslef to survive. "She used to sleep throught the night, secure in knowing that her twin sister, Angel, was beside her in the big bed, and more often than not feeling the weight of Herry against her feet and smelling his familiar doggie aroma." (Roberts 5). "Tonight Mandy awoke in darkness, alone in the bed, for even Herry had deserted her." (Roberts 5).

I predict in my book that the Ghost Mother will come up into the bedroom while Oliver is trying to give the message to Jack. When the Ghost Mother comes up Oliver will not be able to escape this time. All the ghost children will be punished because of Oliver’s action. “Oliver stopped at the beginning of the sentence, and Jack sensed why: the Ghost Mother was nearby” (McNish 87).

Shusterman, Neil. Unwind. Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2007. Print.
In the book Unwind I can connect to one of the charaters named Lev. He was shy at first and didnt kno much when he fist met these two other kids named Conner and Risa who was trying to save him.He didn't know any better so he ran away from them. However in the end of the book he actually saves them! There was a explosion and a building fell and Risa and Conner got hurt"Then Lev does something funny, he takes off his shirt. Then tears it in half. He presses half of the torn shirt to Conners face" (Shusterman 124) So he went in and got help and saved their lives. This is something I would do.

Benway, Robin. Audrey Wait. New York. Razorbill. 2008. Print.
I predict that the song Audrey, Wait is going to be big. One of those songs where it is on one of those top twenty or forty countdowns. The reason I think this is because Audrey even says it’s a good song while she is standing in the crowd frozen solid and wishing that the song wasn’t being performed. “…Here’s the worst part: the song was actually good…” (Benway 14).
Matthew S.
Shusterman, Neal. Unwind. Simon & Schuster, 2007. Print.
I predict that Connor and Risa will find a way out of the harvest camp. Either the Admiral lives and frees them himself, or Connor and Risa find a way to escape and bring Lev and Roland with them as well. I say this because Risa is a good person, as well as Connor, since he has seen Roland’s weakness. In the book, it states “ Fine. I admit it. But she had nothing to do with it! Let her go!(Shusterman 261)” I believe that Connor and Risa would do anything for each other and they’ll put their brains together and escape.

Collins, Suzanne Mocking Jay New York Collins, Suzzane 2 October 2011 Print
I predict that in my place in the book Mocking Jay that next in the Katniss will attempt to save Peeta from the capital. Katniss had lost Peeta when she destroyed the arena in the last Hunger Games book. Peeta had saved Katniss in the first hunger games so Katniss was feeling that she owed her life to Peeta. I think that Katniss will risk her life to save Peeta due to her feeling as if she owes him her life. “ I push people aside until I am right in front of him” (Collins 21).

Lo, Malinda. Ash. New York: Little Brown and Company, 2009. Print.
(Connection)- In the book Ash, Ash the main character's mother and father died. Before Ash's father died he married for the second time to a women named Lady Isobel. She did not like Ash when she married Ash's father but she never could do anything about infront of her husband. Once her husband died though she did as she pleased. To pay off the debts from Lady Isobel's husband's debts she started letting maids go for she could not spare any more money for them and made Ash work for no pay for jobs such as tended to her step sisters, preparing breakfast, cleaning the house, washing the dishes, etc. “...yo will help Beatrice in preparing and serving supper,” (Lo 57). This situation is much similar to the story of Cinderella. Cinderella had to wash the dishes, clean the house duties like that as Ash is told to do the same. Cinderella also had no choice but to do this and she also lost her mother and father like Ash. Their step mothers are very cruel to them and treat them lesser than their own daughters.

Schimdt, Gary. First Boy. New York : 2009. Print Media.
In My book “First boy the main character Cooper is is taken by a man named, Bolster, to a expensive hotel. Many security guards are there. He is interrogated by a man wearing a pinstripe suit. Cooper has no idea why he is there. At first Cooper thinks that it has to do with a politician who wants Cooper to be his poster child, but the more the men talk Cooper, the more he realizes he might be wrong. Cooper said, “you don’t work Senator Wickam” and Mr. Pinstripe said, “You’re starting to figure things out.”(page126, Schmidt)
I predict that they work for the President of the United States.
Dan S. to Victoria B.
You say the girl in your story, Ash is like Cinderella. Her name makes sense then, because ash is the remains of a fire, and the prefix of Cinderella is cinder, which is small pieces of burned wood, the remains of a fire.
